# Ingredient List:

→ Jello Layers

01 - 1 box (3 oz) strawberry gelatin dessert mix
02 - 1 box (3 oz) orange gelatin dessert mix
03 - 1 box (3 oz) lemon gelatin dessert mix
04 - 1 box (3 oz) lime gelatin dessert mix
05 - 1 box (3 oz) berry blue gelatin dessert mix
06 - 1 box (3 oz) grape gelatin dessert mix
07 - 6 cups boiling water
08 - 6 cups cold water

→ Topping

09 - 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
10 - Rainbow sprinkles, as desired

# Directions:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine purple gelatin dessert mix with 1 cup boiling water. Stir thoroughly with a whisk until completely dissolved, then blend in 1 cup cold water.
02 - Evenly distribute approximately 2 tablespoons of the prepared gelatin mixture into the base of each 8-ounce clear cup. Refrigerate for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the layer is firm.
03 - One flavor at a time, prepare blue, green, yellow, orange, and red gelatin mixes following the same steps. After each is dissolved and cooled with cold water, pour the next colored layer gently over the previous, allowing each to set in the refrigerator for 30 to 40 minutes before adding the next.
04 - Once the red layer has set fully, finish each cup with a generous spoonful of whipped cream or whipped topping. Garnish with rainbow sprinkles if using.
05 - Keep cups refrigerated until ready to serve. Present chilled for best results.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Each spoonful is like discovering a hidden stripe of color beneath snowy whipped cream—kids absolutely light up with excitement.
  • It’s almost impossible to mess up, and you can switch flavors for your favorites or what you have on hand.
02 -
  • If you pour new Jello while the layer underneath is still soft, the colors will blur—a little patience between layers keeps stripes neat.
  • Waiting just a few extra minutes for the Jello to cool prevents unsightly bubbles and runny layers.
03 -
  • Wipe the inside rim of the cups with a paper towel between layers for crisp, clean bands.
  • Layering warm—not hot—Jello gives you the smoothest results and prevents condensation marks on the glass.
